Consulting

How I can help you

My consulting services cover a wide range of business needs. Typically it falls into two different buckets, fixing problems and providing solutions. Though they sound similar, the intention is different and so the approach is different. Fixing a problem implies, “we are tired of throwing bandages on this and need to figure out why this is not working.” Providing a solution can be, “we want to go in this direction and aren’t really sure how to get there. Out of all the different options, which ones are the best for us?” So yes, I can help you create a new strategy for your business, build you a new website, build you an eCommerce website, coach you on your business, implement some automation software or fix software that’s broken. That is what I do.

I have experience working with all kinds of businesses from manufacturing to medical to online services to tech companies. I’ve never specialized in one industry, because most of the solutions clients need are universal.

How do we work with you?

It starts with a conversation. You Book a Call With Me and we discuss your project. This is free and if I can solve your problem over the call and not charge you anything, I will. My mission is to help businesses grow and thrive.

Fractional COO

How I can help you

What is a Fractional COO? Simply put, it’s a COO for hire. This can be on an as needed basis, part time or even full time. Some companies need the operational experience a COO has to offer, but are smaller or don’t have the revenue to hire a full time COO. A Fractional COO partners with the CEO and can focus on operational efficiency, employee development, client experience, workflow processes, acquisition strategy and business integration, while the CEO directs their attention to leading the company. What guides the Fractional COO are goals created by the CEO to achieve specific agreed upon milestones. Multiple check-ins, process review and reporting by the Fractional COO will allow the CEO to follow up on the progress.

What’s the difference between a Fractional COO and Consulting?

A Fractional COO will be working closely with your team and can be more integrated if needed. This is a leadership role that will be delegating on behalf of the CEO. They will need to be trusted and empowered by the CEO to make necessary decisions to improve and streamline operations.

What’s the difference between Coaching, Consulting and Fractional COO?

Business Coaching is one on one support for you and members of your team. I’m helping you solve problems for you, and you business. It can be a call once a week or it could be a series of calls working through different issues. The point is we work through them together.

How I can help you

An Advisor typically works with founders or the CEO in a strategic capacity orienting and positioning the company for growth. This can be in the form of organizing the company for investment, creating a minimum viable product or seeking partners for acquisition. As your Advisor, I am your guide. I have decades of experience building and growing companies in the areas you are seeking to improve upon and have connections that can help facilitate progress. My job is to help you reach your company goals with as little friction as possible, while at the same time achieving organizational success.

I’m a welcome addition to your business conference, local event, or small team presentation. After 26 years working in the online business industry my perspective provides additional insight into not only how we got here, but how it ends. I’ve been through all of the peaks and valleys, the Rush to the Web, the Dot Com Bubble, Web 2.0, the Recession of 2008 and the Pandemic.
