Welcome to ParachuteIN!

Thank you for choosing me to help you with your business needs! I look forward to working with you and helping you to get your business to where you want it to be. I’ve been fortunate to have been doing web development for 17+ years now, worked for 9 companies and founded 3. The 9 companies I worked for were startups, up to 60 people, and had varying degrees of success, from barely making it, to the most money I have ever made. All of the businesses I started have been small businesses that were either a sole proprietorship, a partnership or just a few employees. The one area of web development that has always fascinated me is the business itself. How it’s set up, how clients are managed and most importantly, how it makes money.

I have learned a great deal over the years on how to work with large teams and small ones, how to work efficiently with clients and I have been instrumental in creating success for myself and the businesses I’ve worked for. Now I enjoy working with clients just like you to help their businesses achieve their goals. Whether you want to scale up and add team members, scale down and keep it simple or work less and make more money, I can help you get there. Let’s get started.

Working with me

The way I like to start to work with you is to learn about your business. The first week of our engagement we will have several conversations about what’s working, what isn’t working and how you want them to be. There are no right or wrong answers and anything is possible. I often tell people I like to start working backwards, starting first with how much money you’d like to make and then going down the line from there figuring out how to do that with the lifestyle you would like to have. I ask a lot of questions, some of them personal, but I do not judge. I have seen the best and worst of companies and understand that decisions are made, based upon the information that is available at the moment. The most productive times of my career were when I made the biggest mistakes, learned from them and used that as motivation to make my service better.

Next Steps

  1. Follow my blog. In the right hand column towards the top of this page, add your email and click the follow button. I often write posts about running a business and some of this information will help you run your business!
  2. Create a list. Put together a list of items you would like to address first. We can take it step by step or we can address specific things right away. This is your time, so I want to make sure we are addressing your most important questions first.
  3. Pick a time. These hours are yours to use whenever you’d like. Email me ahead of time, when you would like to book an hour or so and we can set a date and time. I’m very casual with the time and if you booked an hour and we go over, I’m fine with it. I’d rather you be happy that you got something out of the conversation. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your business better!
